Chief Operating Officer (COO)

James has over 22 years of experience in the mobile industry, with a number of senior roles in both consumer and business to business mobile sales. After significant success in consumer sales, an opportunity arose to lead a start-up call centre operation from ground up to service H3G consumer sales in the UK. During his leadership the Business quickly became H3G’s leading outsourced provider connecting thousands of customer’s each month to the Three network. In 2010 James was recruited as Sales Director for the highly regarded B2B Dealer, Business Phones Direct. A switch to focus on business sales, James led growth to upward of £15m annual sales from tele and field sales across all four sales offices in the UK. Having spent nearly ten years in the original Mobile Phones Direct retail business, James was recruited back into the Business in 2013 as Operations Director, where he developed the sector leading customer experience and call centre sales platform. James successfully implemented a number of Sales programs, including cart abandonment and the upgrade program which have driven substantial growth in the Business. Promoted to Chief Operating Officer in early 2017, James now takes responsibility for online sales and marketing, website design, customer experience and operations and is a core part of the management team tasked with taking the Business into its next phase of growth.
