Michael Szivos

Founder of SOFTlab

Michael is the founder of SOFTlab, a design studio based in New York City. The studio was created by Michael shortly after receiving a graduate degree in architecture from Columbia University. SOFTlab has won numerous awards including the Architectural League Prize for Young Architects & Designers in 2012 and New Practices New York awarded by the AIA Chapter of New York in 2010. In addition to running SOFTlab, Michael also teaches core graduate design studio at Yale University and is an adjunct professor at Pratt Institute’s School of Architecture.
